Millennials now represent the largest segment of the population in the US; few companies understand this generation of renters and how to capitalize with a “live, work, play” apartment community like Cottonwood Residential.
Cottonwood is a fully integrated and self-managed owner and operator of multifamily properties throughout the country with over $1.6 billion in total assets. Its senior executive team has an average of 18+ years in relevant industry experience. Currently the company has two offerings that will enter into joint ventures to acquire multifamily properties. Both strategies are targeting Class A, amenity-rich multifamily located in downtown/urban locations within major metropolitan markets across the U.S. with a focus on key multifamily demand drivers including significant population growth, flourishing employment centers and strong renter demographics.
Cottonwood Residential pays all selling commissions and offering expenses. This means 100% of the proceeds will be available for investment from the start. In addition, there are no acquisition, disposition, or refinancing fees. To ensure alignment of interest, Cottonwood will co-invest at least 10% of the total investments of each joint venture. The principals of Cottonwood have substantial experience in multifamily acquisitions, ownership and structured investments. This expertise as an owner and operator provides enhanced risk-adjusted return prospects.
